THE AMAZING CONCEPT OF TURNING YOUR SMARTPHONE INTO A LAPTOP !

I had been thinking about the concept of how can we turn our smartphone into a Desktop. Technology had been changing at such a rapid pace that if we can execute this concept than we can be a lot more productive and it can be very time-saving. Let's discuss about the Concept of how can we will be able to turn our Smartphone into a Desktop. The idea is that in a lot of smartphones we find dual space through which we can experience a new space or kind of a new smartphone. In this space we get all the apps like Our Gallery, Files empty like how we get in our new phone. Just like this concept of dual space we can create a Desktop environment. 

EXPERIMENTAL CHROME OS

If I want to use a smartphone I can use phone but whenever I feel the need of turning my phone into a Desktop I should be able to simply switch into the Desktop just like how we switch into Dual Space. We can find the laptop using the CHROME OS with which we can do our day-to-day tasks and some of our office work. It is not necessary to use Microsoft apps like Word, PowerPoint and Excel, we can find their alternatives provided to us by Google like Google Docs, Sheet, Slides and Forms. Still a huge percent of people use MS apps but installing a WINDOWS OS directly into a smartphone might not be easy. So we can install CHROME OS to experiment this concept As it is very lighter than the WINDOWS OS and it gives great experience of using a Desktop. 

DESKTOP PROCESSORS 

Now let's discuss about the processors. The processors which are used in current smartphones are very powerful. Like Snapdragon 888 which has a CPU Clock Speed  of about 2.84 GHz and Snapdragon 865+ which has a CPU Clock Speed of about 3.1 GHz which are very close to the Intel's and AMD's entry level processors which are i3 and the Ryzen 3, they have CPU Clock Speed of about 4.1 GHz. Even this CPU's of Snapdragon are based on 64bit architecture on which the WINDOWS OS can run, and they are both Octa-Core processors. Currently it is not possible to built processors like Intel i7 and Ryzen 7 for a smartphones but with such a rapid changes in technology will make it possible for sure.

COOLING SYSTEM

If in the next upcoming years we are able to create such powerful processors the major problem will be of Heating. In laptops and in PC's we can install cooling systems like fans and liquid cooling system very efficiently due to their large size but installing a cooling system in a smartphone might be tough. But this problem has been also solved by ASUS & Lenovo by creating gaming devices like ASUS ROG PHONE 5 and Lenovo PHONE DUEL 2, both these devices has fans inside of them. So may be this type of technology can be used for providing cooling to the processors. 

COMPACT BATTERY TECHNOLOGY

Battery is one of the most important aspect of the laptop and in the current date we do not get such powerful batteries with the laptop. Most of the very high powered gaming laptops need to be plugged in to get their maximum performance. So creating such powerful batteries for a smartphone will be very tough. We will need the type of technology through which we can create powerful batteries in a compact size.

FORM FACTOR OF THE DEVICE

So what is going to be the form factor of this device, as we will use it as a smartphone we need a normal 6.5inch display but when we'll switch to a desktop we need a bigger screen. In this case a FOLDABLE PHONE can be used because when we'll use it as a desktop we can unfold it and use it. This Foldable form of device will be very efficient for these type of devices. Even the Foldable tech is also improving day-by-day as Samsung launched its new Foldable GALAXY Z FOLD3 and OPPO also launched FIND N. Both this phones have amazing technology as Foldable and using these type of devices as a compact desktop will be efficient.

PORTS

What about Ports? In a desktop we can't compromise with ports but having type-A port in a smartphone is not possible due to its size. All we can have is a type-C port in a smartphone but this can be also solved by PORT HUB. And also the aim of this concept is to complete our small day-to-day tasks as we can't carry our laptop with us all the time.
